A Closer Look

Deepcool Neptwin, besides twin tower design, is quite standard looking with exposed copper heat pipes and rectangular fins. Aluminum fins do have some cuts and extrusions. Six heat pipes stick out through the top. Deepcool's logo seen on top fins is actually also present on every aluminum fin.

Aluminum fins are thicker than those found on some of the cheaper heatsinks. Aluminum fin body starts quite low, which makes cooler incompatible with taller than standard DIMM modules.

Cooler has six 6 mm copper heat pipes connected to a thin mirror finish base. Aluminum fins are pressed-fit on the heatpipes. Base is well polished although micro scratches can be seen in the reflection below.

Neptwin comes with two fans, one of which supports PWM control. Fans have small shark fins on their blades. Non-PWM fan runs at 1300 RPM while making 53.65 CFM airflow while PWM fan runs between 900-1500 RPM with airflow rated at up to 60.29 CFM.
