ASRock M8 mini-ITX gaming barebone system, designed in cooperation with BWM Group DesignWorksUSA, has reached store shelves. M8 small form factor (SFF) system boasts futuristic design case and comes equipped with Mini-ITX motherboard, optical drives and power supply.
ASRock M8 SFF gaming barebone has dimensions of just 372 x 123 x 400 mm. It has Z87-M8 socket LGA 1150 Mini-ITX motherboard with Intel Z87 chipset. Motherboard supports all Intel Haswell processors. Board has 2 DIMM slots allowing installation of up to 16 GB of DDR3 memory running at up to 1600 MHz clock. System supports dual slot graphics card of up to 290 mm length and 200 W power consumption. M8 is equipped with 450 W power supply.
ASRock M8 supports 3.5" and 2.5" drives and has 5.25" slim slot-in optical drive installed. System is equipped with 802.11 ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0. 7.1 Sound Core3D sound system is provided by Creative.
Front I/O connectivity consists of four USB 3.0, microphone and headphone ports, as well as SD3.0, MMC, MS, MS PRO card readers. On the back there are four more USB 3.0, four USB 2.0 connectors, Intel gigabit Ethernet port, eSATA, DisplayPort and HDMI.
System is cooled by one 70 mm in the bottom and one 70 mm fan on the top. ASRock M8 system has all-in-one control OLED button that shows system information, such as temperatures and fan speeds, and allows to control settings such as sound volume.
