BIOSTAR released Hi-Fi B85N 3D mini-ITX motherboard based on Intel LGA1150 socket and B85 chipset. The board has onboard DVI, VGA, HDMI connectors with support for 4K/2K resolutions and flexibility in HTPC systems.
B85N has two DIMM slots and supports up to 16GB of DDR3 memory. All latest Intel Haswell CPUs are supported and fed through 4-pin power connector. Expansion slots include single PCI-E 3.0 x16 slot. Storage connectivity includes two SATA3 6Gbps ports, two SATA2 3Gbps ports and one mSATA port.
On the rear I/O panel there are four USB 2.0, two USB 3.0 ports, DVI, HDMI, VGA connectors, dual Ethernet ports, PS/2 mouse keyboard port and 8 channel audio, including optical.
BIOSTAR Hi-Fi B85N 3D features ALC892 audio codec surrounded by EMI shield. Audio quality is further improved by use of dedicated audio capacitors.
Board supports all B85 features, such as Small Business Advantage Technology (SBA 2.0), Smart Connect Technology (SCT) and Rapid Start Technology (RST). BIOSTAR's proprietary features include PURO Hi-Fi 3D, Smart Speed LAN, BIO-Remote 2, Charger Booster and BIOS Online Update.
