Bitfenix introduced Phenom Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX cube cases featuring sleek design, liquid cooling support and flexible storage configuration.
Phenom Mini-ITX can fit up to six 3.5" or eleven 2.5" drives. With Flexicage removed, graphics card of up to 330 mm length can be installed. When it comes to CPU cooling, Phenom Mini-ITX can fit either an air cooler of 175 mm height or a thick 240 mm liquid cooling radiator. Case has two PCI expansion slots and accommodates ATX standard power supply.
Externally, Phenom Micro-ATX is identical to Mini-ITX version. However, they differ internally. Micro-ATX version can fit up to five 3.5" or six 2.5" drives and has five PCI expansion slots to support NVIDIA SLI and AMD CrossFireX configurations. Graphics cards of up to 320 mm length can be installed. Maximum CPU cooler height is 160 mm. 120 mm liquid cooler can be installed in the back of the case. Power Supply in Phenom Micro-ATX is front-mounted.
Bitfenix Phenom cases will be available in October, coming in white and black color options. Bitfenix Phenom Mini-ITX is priced at $79.99 while Phenom Micro-ATX has a price tag of $99.99.
