German company Be Quiet! released a successor of the Shadow Rock processor cooler. The new Be Quiet! Shadow Rock 2 (BK013) CPU cooler features cubical tower design with 4 heatpipes.
The cooler is composed of a dense 51 square aluminum fin stack, copper base and four 8 mm diameter copper heatpipes. Top fin is thicker than the others, boasts brushed aluminum looks and covers the heatpipes. Cooler measures at 122 x 122 x 160 mm (excluding fan) and weighs a total of 1120 g (including fan).
Shadow Rock 2 comes with a 120 x 120 x 25 mm Rifle bearing fan with PWM control, which spins at up to 1600 RPM, making an airflow of 51 CFM ( 81 m3/h). Cooler supports all modern Intel (LGA 775/1155/1156/1366/2011) and AMD (754, 939, 940, AM2(+), AM3(+), FM1, FM2) sockets. It's capable of dealing with 180 W thermal load.
