Cougar launched a second rugged MX series case, the MX300. New mid-tower chassis features spacious interior and unique front panel design with a mixture of honeycomb structure and mesh.
Cougar MX300 measures at 195 x 450 x490 and supports ATX, Micro-ATX motherboards. Enclosure has two 2.5" bays, one external 3.5" and three internal 3.5" bays as well as three 2.5" bays. ODDs use tool-less locking mechanisms while HDD and SSD bays have tool-less trays. 7 PCI expansion slots with ventilated covers are present and graphics cards of up to 310 mm length can be installed. Motherboard tray has a large opening to allow easier CPU cooler backplate installation as well as many holes for cable routing and management. Cooling system consists of up to seven 120 mm fans. Two at the top, two on the side panel, two in the front and one in the rear. Side panel has a window. PSU, top and front intakes are covered with easily removable dust filters. Two holes for routing liquid cooling tubes are placed in the rear. Front panel connectivity includes one USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0 port along with audio and microphone connectors.
