Deepcool Lucifer CPU Cooler from Deepcool's Gamer Storm series was released a few weeks ago in the Greater China region. Now it's been released globally.
The massive tower cooler consists of a dense nickel-plated strange-shaped aluminum fin array, six 6 mm nickel-plated copper heatpipes and full-copper base. Aluminum fins are covered with diamond shaped bumps. Deepcool Lucifer is of somewhat cubic design, usually suitable for passive cooling. It weighs 936 g without fan, the dimensions are 140x110x163 mm. The cooler is of asymmetrical design - aluminum fin body is shifted away from center to maximize compatibility with tall RAM heatspreaders.
Deepcool Lucifer comes with a 140x140x26 mm UF series anti-vibrational material PWM fan with Hydro bearing, which spins between 700-1400 RPM while making an airflow of up to 81.33 CFM. Noise is rated at 17.8-31.1 dB(A). With supplied fan Lucifer is capable of dissipating thermal load of up to 300 Watts. Dual fan mounting for push-pull configuration is also supported.
The cooler supports all modern Intel (LGA2011, LGA1366, LGA1156, LGA1155, LGA1150, LGA775) and AMD (FM2, FM1, AM3+, AM3, AM2+, AM2) sockets.
Deepcool Lucifer CPU Cooler will be available worldwide in August. Recommended retail price is set at 60 $.
