Celebrating their 10 year anniversary, Sharkoon announced REX MWC Water Cooling Edition case. This mid-tower case supports micro-ATX motherboards and is compatible with thick dual 280 mm liquid cooling radiators. Externally REX MWC is near identical to older REX series cases with fully meshed front panel, however it's completely revamped from inside.
New interior features lots of holes and anchors for cable management, a large cut out on the motherboard tray for easier CPU cooler installation. REX MWC has two usable 5.25" bays with tool-less installation. Frame for external 3.5" bay is included. Storage configuration includes three rack-mount type universal 3.5"/2.5" bays. Sharkoon REX MWC Water Cooling Edition supports two dual slot graphics cards of 40 cm length, tower CPU coolers of 165 mm height and power supplies of 28 cm length. Case has five PCI expansion slots.
Case comes with three 120 mm blue LED fans preinstalled in front and rear. Liquid cooling support is impressive - a thick dual 280 x 155 x 65 mm radiator can be installed in the top without interfering with the motherboard. Two holes for routing liquid cooling hoses are present in the rear. When no radiator is installed, two 120 or 140 mm fans can be installed instead.
REX MWC measures at 455 x 205 x 435 mm and weighs 6 kg. Front panel connectivity includes a total of six USB ports - two USB 3.0, four USB 2.0 connectors. Audio input and output jacks are there as well. Side panels feature large extrusions with acrylic window. Sharkoon REX MWC is priced at 54.9 EUR.
