Xigmatek updated its very popular mainstream Gaia cooler. Gaia II is a standard tower type cooler with three direct touch heatpipes and aluminum fins.

Xigmatek Gaia II

Compared to original Gaia version, Gaia II is a lot more plain looking. Aggressive curved aluminum fins have been replaced by a near rectangle shaped ones. However, Gaia II retains three 8 mm diameter direct touch heatpipes. Cooler stands at 159 mm height, 120 mm width and 50 mm thickness, which is rather slim and should provide high compatibility with tall RAM module heatsinks. Gaia II heatsink weighs 460 grams.

Cooler comes with 120 mm FCB bearing PWM fan spinning at between 800-1500 RPM with a rated airflow of 56.3 CFM and noise level of 16-24 dBA. Dual fan mounting is supported. Sockets supported are Intel LGA775/ 1156/ 1366/ 1155/ 2011/ 1150 and AMD FM2/FM1/AM3+/AM3/AM2+/AM2. Xigmatek Gaia II is rated to dissipate 150W of heat.

Price is not yet revealed, but should fall below $40 range.
