Zalman ZM-Z1

Zalman introduced ZM-Z1 ATX mid tower PC case. Based on Zalman's signature classy design, Z1 features meshed front panel, extruded side panels and indent on the top to place a smartphone or external hard drive.

Two 5.25" bays and one external 3.5" bay are present. One of 5.25" bays has a cover with lever for easy removal. Two USB 2.0, one USB 3.0 and audio/mic connectors are placed in the middle of front part.

Zalman Z1 is a compact case, standing at 199 x 432 x 457 mm, but has quite some room for cable management. There are some holes for cable management and extruded side panel adds more room for cable routing behind the motherboard tray. There's a mid-size cut out on the motherboard tray for CPU cooler installation.

Four 3.5" HDDs can be installed in 3.5" cage and one 2.5" SSD can be installed on the top of the cage. 3.5" drives use tool-less retainers while 2.5" drives require screws for installation.

Zalman ZM-Z1 supports graphics cards of up to 360 mm length once installed in PCI slots above drive cage and about 270 mm when placed at the same height as 3.5" cage. Z1 comes equipped with one 120 mm fan in the front and one 120 mm in the rear. PSU air intake is covered with dust filter. Case has two holes in the back for liquid cooling hoses.

Price has not been revealed but shouldn't exceed 60 USD price point.
