NVIDIA revealed pricing and release date of GeForce GTX 780 Ti graphics card. Based on GK110 silicon, GTX 780 Ti will be released on November 7th at slightly higher price than expected.
GeForce GTX 780 Ti will be priced at 699 US Dollars or about 650 Euros. In terms of performance it will likely compete with AMD's Radeon R9 290X. At least rumors say GTX 780 Ti might be faster than GTX TITAN, which would make it go toe to toe with R9 290X. Otherwise it could end up closer to R9 290 non-X. Specficiations have not yet been confirmer, although we expect to see GK110 GPU with 13 SMX clusters making a total of 2496 CUDA cores and core running at 902 MHz base clock and 954 MHz boost clock. Card should come with 3 GB of GDDR5 VRAM running at 6008 MHz effective clock.
Even though GTX 780 Ti won't be priced exactly as GTX 780, GTX 780 has still received the promised price cut. GTX 780 can now be found for around $499. That's a price drop of $150 from previous $649 price point. GTX 770 received a price cut as well. Its prices went down from $399 to around $299-$329.
Additionally, NVIDIA The Way It's Meant To Be Played (TWIMTBP) is offering "Pirates, Heroes and Spies" free game bundle with selected graphics cards. Buyers of GTX 780 Ti, GTX 780 and GTX 770 will receive Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, Batman: Arkham Origins and Splinter Cell: Blacklist games. Buyers of GTX 760 and GTX 660 will receive one game less - Splinter Cell: Blacklist and Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.
