Deepcool expanded its business with the addition of PC power supply product lineup. Their first unit, Quanta DQ-750W, is 80 Plus Gold certified and comes with a rich set of features.
Quanta DQ-750W is manufactured by CWT (Channel Well Technology). Unit achieves efficiency of 88-92% (230V) or 87-90% (115V) between 20-100% load. Power supply supports full 90-264V voltage range and has OVP, OPP, SCP protections. DQ-750W features single +12V rail design, with rail rated at 62A (744W or 99.2% of full rated power). PSU is cooled by 140 mm blue LED fan and features 0 RPM cooling mode, which allows for noiseless operation when unit is loaded at up to 30% of its rated power. At higher loads fan is controlled thermally. Once system is turned off, Fan Delay Cool keeps the fan spinning for 15-30 seconds. Quanta DQ-750W is semi-modular and has flat ribbon cables. Connectors include single 24-pin, 4+4-pin EPS ATX12V, four 6+2-pin PCI-E, six SATA power and six peripheral (Molex) connectors. Price has not been revealed.
Deepcool's page, besides Quanta, hints at two more power supply series called Aurora and Nova. More details will be revealed soon.
