Test Results
With CPU running at 3.7 GHz Gammaxx S40 keeps up with the other coolers. That's a very good result considering the size and price. Though notice how fan speed affects its performance.
Turning up the heat Gammaxx S40 falls less than a degree C behind Zalman CNPS11X Performa. Still holds on very well.
Finally, turning the clock up to 4.5 GHz we see Gammaxx S40 fall a few degrees behind the pack, but for a 143 mm tall cooler priced at under $30, it performs very well. With fan running at low speed, though, it didn't manage to keep CPU at safe temperature.
